This weekend was supposed to be cooler, so we quickly made the decision to go camping on my grandmother’s property, which borders the Big South Fork in Scott County. Well it didn’t turn out to be as cool as they suggested and the seed ticks were thick.
We loaded up the Cruiser with the kids, dogs, camping gear, and the bikes. This was the first time we had to use the roof rack and it worked out well. But as you can see from the pics the Cruiser was loaded. Check how much it squatted fully loaded. We spent the day hiking around (getting covered in seed ticks), shooting the .22 pistol, building a small bike trail, and eating. On Sunday we packed up and drove into the BSF. We stopped by Leatherwood Ford and Wyatt got wet. Then we drove up to Bandy Creek and Meghann, Wyatt, and Rory played while I did a quick loop of Collier Ridge on my hardtail.
