Race Day
It was race day. I crashed going too fast into a section during my race run. I twisted my bars, knocked my headset loose, and burped my tubeless tire down to 10 psi. In this kind of race there isn’t much glory in getting 45th over 55th in the Pro class for a fella like me and with Andrew Neethling starting behind me, I pulled over and let him pass. I rolled down and have no regrets. I eventually finished dead last, but only one place behind the current World Champion.
