HomeBikingLowCountry MTB ride and Coast Brewery

We traveled down to Charleston, SC to visit my sister and take in a few of the sites. I had originally planned to ride the Wambah cycle trail but the trails were closed due to water. So I took the mtb as a backup and found a 13 mile loop pretty close to my sister’s house in North Charleston by the Naval Weapons Station. Meghann and the boys dropped me off and headed to the children’s museum. I rode the loop then rode back to my sister’s via the road. I think my over all elevation gain was less than 20 ft, so pedaling back on the road for about 9 miles was pretty easy, even for a dirt jump bike. Turns out that Coast Brewery is realy close to my sister’s house so I just rode straight there and enjoyed a few of their beers. The weather was perfect and their beer is really, really good.
